Cardio Chairs

Cardio Chairs was designed to enable and facilitate the visualization and exploration of interpersonal dynamics by making the invisible visible.

The installation featured two translucent chairs embedded with wireless sensors and lights that changed color and brightness in response to the seated occupants’ physiological activation. Through this interaction, Cardio Chairs allowed participants to observe and experience how human connection and emotion could be reflected in real time.
